Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. McNeely, and Ms. Patterson attended the South Carolina Association of Title I Administrators Conference this week. As part of this professional development experience, they participated in breakout sessions and heard from inspiring speakers, including Bryon Garrett. “It reminded us that missing resources can be emotional, social, or physical, not just financial, and that teachers can make small moves that make a big difference,” shared Mrs. McNeely. She added that the conference emphasized “the human side of education” and encouraged educators to spark students’ curiosity about learning rather than simply focusing on checklists. The conference also helped prepare our team for upcoming changes, simplified the auditing process, and reinforced the importance of building meaningful connections.
