The Lady Tigers defeated the Lamar Silver Foxes 44-28 which means they will advance to the second round of playoffs. The next game will be on Friday, February 16th at 7:00 PM in the AFHS Gym against East Clarendon. Come out to support our girls as they make their way to the State Championship!

The annual MLK Jr. Oratory Competition will be held on February 28th at 6:00 PM in the Allendale-Fairfax Multipurpose Room . This year's theme will be "Making the Dream a Reality" and will showcase 3rd-5th grade students. Ministers in Action: Pastors with a Presence is a group of local ministers who have volunteered to become mentors for our students. They held a roundtable discussion to hear ideas and input from students and administrators alike. Together they were able to develop a innovative solution to address issues both in the classroom and at home. We hope that this program will bridge a gap and provide additional support for our students so that they can succeed in life. They will begin having a presence in our schools beginning February 23, 2024. We are grateful for their assistance and their willingness to impact the live of our scholars.

Our Varsity girls defeated Bridges Prep 57-21 on Monday night. Tonight they will be traveling to face off against Royal Oaks.
Congratulations to Trinity Mickell for her achievements in basketball. She has earned over 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds over the course of her career! She was honored during halftime on Monday. She was surrounded by her family, teammates, coaches, cheerleaders, and administrators. We are so proud of her and can't wait to see what she accomplishes next!
