Our Thanksgiving Dinners with parents were a success, thanks to the hard and diligent work of our Food and Nutrition Staff. Parents and students spent quality time while enjoying a delicious meal consisting of turkey, dressing, yams, and more!

AFHS will be having a School Improvement Council Meeting next Monday, on November 27th at 5:00 PM. Parents, please come out to support our school and scholars.

Parents, Juniors, and Seniors, please join the Allendale-Fairfax High School Guidance Department as we host Parent Information Night on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM.


In conjunction with DJJ, AFHS held a Prevention Day where guest speakers Jessica Ohl from New Life Center, Pastor Wiber Hines, and special guest AL Jenkins, Regional Director for Senator Tim Scott, discussed vaping and life choices.



Allendale-Fairfax Elementary School recognized Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. Students learned about Ruby Bridges and her important contributions she made to school integration.

Fighter Roy, Poli and Lol Ms. Diva taught our children how to prevent and respond to fires during our Fire Prevention Program.









Final reminder that the AFHS JROTC and Bow Tie Club will be hosting their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament tomorrow, November 18th at 9AM. Please come out to support our school clubs!

NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY RECORDS
On December 15, 2023, Allendale County Schools Special Education Department, 3249 Allendale-Fairfax Hwy, Fairfax, SC 29827, will be destroying the Special Education Records of students whose special education services ended more than five years ago. For more information or to arrange pick up of records, you may call Mrs. Tenia Creech at (803) 584-4603, ext. 1130. These records will not be shipped. An individual 18 years of age or older, unless adjudicated, must request his/her own records. Proper identification is required.
After December 15, 2023, if no one has retrieved the records, the Department of Special Education will assume that they wish for the records to be destroyed.


Reminder that the AFHS Cosmetology Clinic will be open tomorrow 9AM-1PM. Walk-ins are welcome and our students look forward to servicing you!



Please join the AFHS JROTC and American Red Cross at their Blood Drive on January 19th in the AFHS Multipurpose Room. Blood donations will be taken from 8:45 AM - 2:45 PM and all donors will receive a free gift card and tshirt.




Let's recognize our JROTC Tiger Battalion Senior Class: Ramaya Campfield, Brooke Davis, Zy'one Green, Lokeya Robinson, and Amaya Taylor.






Our administrators and instructional leaders were instructed on how to aggressively monitor. The purpose is to ensure that our students are learning and comprehending after each step in a lesson.
