Thank you to everyone who contributed to making our College and Career Fair a success! To our vendors—this event would not have been possible without you! We truly appreciate you taking the time to speak with our scholars about their post-high school options. A special thank you to our staff and student ambassadors who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The College and Career Fair was full of opportunities to learn, connect, and explore different paths post graduation. There were a few colleges like Coastal Carolina University, Lander University, and Clemson University. Students got to learn about various career paths including STEM, cosmetology, and law enforcement.

Allendale-Fairfax Middle and High School held a College and Career Fair for our students to discover their potential futures. Students had over 20 stations featuring both colleges and careers that they could visit. They explored different career paths, networked with professionals, and gained valuable insights into the working world.

Some of our students from Allendale-Fairfax High School attended Be Pro Be Proud at Denmark Technical College. They had fun experiencing simulators and practicing procedures. This event was a great way for our scholars to explore various careers including welding, construction, and plumbing. We are grateful for Be Pro Be Proud SC and DTC for giving our students this opportunity.

Dear Allendale County Community of Learners,
Due to high wind speeds, Allendale County School District will be having an E-learning day tomorrow, March 5th, 2025. Wind speeds are estimated to be up to 65 mph between 6am-9am, making it unsafe for our school buses to travel safely. All after school programs and athletic events will also be cancelled. We understand this may be an inconvenience, but the safety of our staff and students is of utmost importance. With testing approaching shortly, it is important that we still utilize this day for practice and review. All students will have a combination of both asynchronous and synchronous work from their teachers. We expect all students to log on and complete their work, so that tomorrow is still a productive day. We will also be sending meals home for students to consume. There will be an update tomorrow afternoon. In the meantime please monitor your local news and our social media channels for updates. Please stay safe and avoid traveling tomorrow morning if possible.

Please be reminded that if you purchased donuts from our choral students, they will be delivered tomorrow. Another thank you to everyone who contributed to our fundraiser! Your support is helping our students make their trip to New York next year a reality.
